Bravo. Trouble is the parents are just as bad. Try convincing them to deny their children the use of the iphone that THEY bought for the kid so that they could a. have a sense of 24/7 attachment to their offspring and b. keep up with the Joneses.
I do not own a cellphone and I never will. I don't have kids, but I have taken phones away from my nephews and from my students. To solve this problem either parents need to act like parents or kids need to exercise a degree of self-discipline that is likely beyond them.
I weep for our future unless people can learn the meaning of the word "moderation".
